Shirley's Cafe & Grill in Michigan

"I’ve lived in the area for over 30 years. This is the first time I’ve been to this restaurant. Overall, the food was good and environment seemed to be pleasant. A lot of Elvis based nostalgia on the walls giving it a retro vibe. My main concern was the lack of attentiveness to refill my coffee, water, or to see if I needed anything else. The place was pretty empty when I arrived around 1230pm. I don’t wanna call it rude, but it seemed like the server was indifferent even though I told third it’s my first time there. I did leave a decent tip, but I usually tip at 50% for good service (not this time). When the transaction was completed there was no thank you for coming, come again, or goodbye. They just rushed off. Summary: Good food and OK service. The prices are little higher compared to other breakfast places in the greater area, but not so bad. I would comeback again if invited, but I would probably choose other options if given the choice. Not the greatest, but not really enough to overturn a 4 star rating. Low end 4 star, but a 4 star nonetheless. Just sayin"

"Love this place, so cozy This has been my grandparents go to for years. I still take my grandpa from time to time since he's lost my grandma. The food is always delicious, we always have great service, they always remember my grandpa's order and he loves that haha. Definitely give this place a shot, can't beat the prices either, plus cool Elvis decor."
